We invite you to take an active part in the arts at Wellesley!

  • By becoming a member of Friends of Art, you join a national network of approximately 900 alumnae and friends. Some are collectors or arts professionals – all share an interest in the arts and an enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
  • There are active Wellesley College Friends of Art chapters in Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
  • Members of the Friends of Art Patrons Society – those who make an annual membership gift of $2,500 or more – are invited to take part in our annual “Patrons-only” multi-day arts-related trip that includes curator-led tours of private collections and back-of-house tours of art institutions in a different major U.S. city each spring.

  • The Patrons Trip in April 2009 to Seattle was a huge success, featuring special visits to five private collections. A round of applause to coordinators Linda Wyatt Gruber '66 and Alex Read DS'79.

  • PHILADELPHIA in SPRING 2010!
Plans are underway for the 2010 Patrons Trip scheduled for May 5-8, 2010 to the Brandywine Valley and Philadelphia. Trip details and enrollment forms will be available in September.
